How to Identify ASIAN BEETLES & LADYBUGS

Asian beetles are a non-native invasive specials that can swarm and deliver a painful bite. Their multiple spots and white faces distinguish them from the native species.
THE SIGNS OF Asian Beetles & LadyBugs
The Asian Beetle (harmonia axyridis) is a different species from the common North American Ladybug (Coccinella septempunctata). Introduced to the U.S. to control Aphids, this invasive species is driving out native varieties and is becoming quite a pest. Asian Lady Bugs/Beetles infest cracks in exterior walls, interior walls, drapes, furniture, and carpets. When disturbed or crushed these pest excrete an orange liquid that not only leaves a stain but also contains a pheromone that attracts other Asian Ladybugs/Beetles.
