How to Naturally Remove Stink Bugs From Your Home

Stink bugs do exactly what you think they do — they bug you and they stink! While they are harmless, stink bugs will emit a foul odor, especially when they are crushed. These pests must be removed in a proper way to avoid smelling their terrible scent.

Garlic Spray Repellent
Mix together 2 cups of water and 4 teaspoons of garlic powder in a spray bottle. Spray areas in your home where you often see stink bugs like windows, plants, etc. This solution won’t kill the bugs, but it will do a great job in keeping them away from these areas.

Soap to Death
If you’re looking for a way to kill existing stink bugs, meet soap — your new best friend. Mix together 32 ounces of water with ¾ cup of dish soap in a spray bottle. Spray this solution onto stink bugs and the areas where they frequent the most. Soap will kill stink bugs by breaking through their tough exterior and dehydrating them to death.

Suck ‘Em Up
Keep a hand vacuum nearby as an easy and effective way of removing stink bugs. Simply suck each bug up as you see them, but keep in mind that your vacuum might smell because of them. Choose a vacuum that utilizes bags and throw the bag out in the outside garbage can.
