Posted on August 8th, 2019 by Knockout Pest

Think you know everything when it comes to pests? Think again! Below are some shocking but true facts about pests.

Centipedes

Front legs are usually made for walking. However, that is not the case with a centipede! They actually act as venomous fangs that help centipedes catch their prey.

Stink Bugs

Did you know that stink bugs are not originally from the United States? It’s true! They supposedly made their first voyage to eastern Pennsylvania in 1998 via shipping crates.

Millipedes

A fossil of a millipede discovered in Scotland is approximately 428 million years old! It is believed that millipedes were the first animals to breathe air. In order to do this, they made the transition from water to land.
